We are excited to announce the open call for our second group exhibition in Lisbon, "PRINTED 01" will be hosted by Shelter Artists Run Space in its studio at Jardins do Bombarda.
Shelter Artists-run Space is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition, PRINTED 01.
This open-themed exhibition invites artists from all disciplines to submit their works digitally. All submissions must fit a maximum A4 size and can be in color or black and white. Selected artworks will be printed on high-quality artistic paper, with smaller dimensions adjusted to a 1:1 ratio for printing. Submission Process:
To apply, fill out the online submission form and follow the provided instructions for submitting your artwork images. Ensure that all submissions are completed by February 8, 2025.
Submission Guidelines:
Artists, aged 18 or above and from any global location, are eligible to participate.
Artists can submit up to two artworks. The guidelines for submission are as follows:

Participation Fee: There will be a selecting procedure for submitted artworks. For selected artists a non-refundable fee of 30 Euros applies for up to two artworks. This fee covers exhibition, print, administrative and operational expenses. Participation fee payment options will be sent to selected participants via email.

Accepted Mediums: Digitalized and printable artworks including; drawings, paintings, prints, digital art, photographs, collages or mixed media.

Artwork Specifications: Digital versions of artworks should not exceed 30 cm on their longest side, in PNG or JPEG format, at least 300 dpi, must not exceed 20 MB. All submissions must fit a maximum A4 file size and can be in color or black and white. Selected artworks will be printed on high-quality artistic a4 paper. Smaller dimensions adjusted to a 1:1 ratio for printing in a4 paper size.

Sale of Artworks: Prints of artworks may be offered for sale. Shelter Artists Run Space will retain a 20% commission on any sales. Please indicate if the piece is "Not for Sale" (NFS) when submitting.

Archiving the Prints: All prints of the selected artworks will be achieved by Shelter artists Run Space. The prints will not be sent to the artists. Shelter Artists Run Space retains the authority of the printed artworks during the exhibition and to utilise these images for promotional and educational activities indefinitely. By participating in this call and submitting their artwork, artists are agreeing to these specified conditions.

Originality and Copyright: Submissions must be original works by the artist. By submitting, artists confirm that they hold all rights to the work and that it is not infringing any third-party rights.
RESPONSIBILITY & IMAGE USAGE
While every effort will be made to handle artworks delicately and ensure supervision during public viewing hours, Shelter Artists Run Space cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage.
Additionally, Shelter Artists Run Space retains the authority to capture photographs of the artworks during the exhibition and to utilise these images for promotional and educational activities indefinitely. By participating in this call and submitting their artwork, artists are agreeing to these specified conditions.
